Brenda Novak Annual Auction for Diabetes

Welcome to May!

Okay, May has been in full swing for over a week but what can I say, I’m a little behind.  What does May mean to me?  Well, the end of May means Balticon! My first and favourite con.

But May in general to me means AUCTION TIME!

Every year from May 1 to May 31st Brenda Novak hosts her Annual Online Auction for Diabetes Research.  There are a lot of really cool items up for auction that would be of interest not only to readers, but also to budding writers.  Just as a few exciting examples –

    For Readers:

  •

The auction is now in full swing so just head on over to the Auction site and jump in.  Two years ago, I bid on the auction and won a package trip to Hawaii – airfare, hotel, surfing lessons, gift card, and beachtote with books, towel and other goodies.  Donated by the fabulous Jane Porter it was a wonderful prize, a fantastic experience for our family  and a great way to feel good about writing, reading and donating.
